About Retail Development Consultancy
Retail Development Consultancy is one of the key specialised skills in Nawawi Tie. We play a major role in shaping the success of retail projects. We provide advice and consultation to the mall owners / developers as well as the architects for retail projects. The work involves analysis of the market, development of the retail concept, defining the target market, the mall positioning, and the merchandise mix. We also advise on the key operational requirements and marketability to ensure the long-term investment value of the development.
Your Attributes / Characteristic:
- Someone who is passionate about retail concepts and design and is up-to-date with retail trends.

- Keen eye on layout functionality and flow within the space
- Good interpersonal skill and works well in a team
- Proactive self-starter, able to work independently and collaboratively with an innate sense of initiative and curiosity
- Ability to read and understand architectural plans
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
Your Attributes / Characteristic:
- Assist with business development efforts and support proposals to expand client base
- Contribute to managing retail development projects and ensure timely delivery
- Work closely with the Director/Manager to help set project goals, timelines and deliverables
- Contribute to developing and proposing retail concepts and ideas for new projects
- Review retail layout design to ensure the retail design meet marketability and operation standards
- Maintain and update retail development database and market data
- Communicate with stakeholders and clients to meet project requirements and manage project timeline.
- Prepare presentation and project reports for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preferrable with 3 to 5 years of work experience. (For exceptional fresh graduates, if you think you have the above attributes and willing to learn, we will consider a separate scheme for you.)
- Possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Professional Degree, in Real Estate / Business Studies / Administration / Management, Marketing / Interior design / Architectural or equivalent.
- Good written and verbal communication skill in both English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Computer literate with strong proficiency in Microsoft Power Point and Microsoft Excel.
- AutoCAD skill is beneficial.
- Strong Analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong time and organisation management with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
