Events & Casual Mall Leasing Executive

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, Retail Mall we seek an energetic Events and Casual Mall Leasing Executive to assist to execute and create a vibrant atmosphere of our new retail malls in Putrajaya.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate, and execute engaging events and activations to enhance the overall experience of visitors to the new retail malls.
• Collaborate with tenants and stakeholders to facilitate casual leasing opportunities, ensuring a diverse and appealing mix of short-term retailers.
• Develop and manage relationships with vendors, exhibitors, and sponsors to secure partnerships for events and leasing activities.
• Report to and work closely with the Marketing Manager, Retail Mall to align events and leasing strategies with overall marketing objectives.
• Execute casual mall leasing agreements, negotiate terms, and ensure compliance with guidelines.
• Provide support in developing marketing collateral for events and leasing opportunities.
• Analyse the success of events and leasing activities, gathering feedback for continuous improvement.
• Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities related to events and casual leasing in retail malls.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, or a related field.
• Have a minimum of 2 to 4 years proven experience in planning and executing events, with a focus on casual leasing in retail environments.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills for building relationships with tenants, vendors, and sponsors.
• Creativity in conceptualising and implementing events that align with the mall’s brand and attract diverse audiences.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
