As the Retail Centre Manager, you will be the driving force behind our new shopping destinations. From daily operations to strategic planning, this role is your opportunity to lead a team dedicated to setting up two retail malls in Putrajaya.

Responsibilities:

  • Overall Management: Lead daily operations, revenue administration, leasing, marketing and service contracts.
  • Policy Formulation: Plan and implement company policies for retail mall and property management.
  • Marketing and Business Plan: Develop strategies to enhance customer visitation, merchandise mix and tenant loyalty.
  • Retail Trends Expert: Advise on current and future retail trends, bringing innovation to leasing and marketing strategies.
  • Proactive Vacancy Management: Strategise for upcoming vacant retail spaces, ensuring swift and profitable occupancy.
  • Leasing Terms Oversight: Review and ensure leasing terms protect the interests of the mall and owner.
  • Service Contracts Management: Work with service providers to ensure contracts are up-to- date, ensuring operational efficiency.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage revenue collection, submit operating budgets and drive financial efficiency.
  • Coordination with Authorities: Liaise with local authorities and 3rd parties to minimise disruptions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor in Real Estate/Property Management/Marketing/Business Admin or relevant field. Proven experience in mall management. At least 10 years of relevant work experience, especially in mall management or retail operations.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills. Able to lead a large team. Innovative mindset for retail trends.
  • Financial acumen for budget management.
  • Coordination skills with local authorities and 3rd parties.
  • Able to drive with own transport and willing to travel within Malaysia.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skill. Able to work independently, yet a great team player.
