Are you ready to play a key role in shaping the retail landscape and driving leasing strategies for our projects in Putrajaya? The Leasing Manager, Retail Mall will lead a team to drive and implement strategic leasing plans and play a pivotal role in curating an exceptional tenancy mix for the malls.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive tenancy mix strategies for the retail malls, aiming to achieve rental budgets.
- Identify and engage potential tenants, overseeing the leasing process for new leases and renewals.
- Negotiate lease agreements, rental terms and contractual conditions with prospective tenants, fostering mutually beneficial arrangements.
- Cultivate and maintain strong landlord-tenant relationships to enhance the overall leasing experience.
- Review and verify lease documents, management reports and transaction-related documents. Uphold professional standards within the Leasing team, ensuring the integrity of Leasing systems and reports.
- Prepare regular reports and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
- Stay abreast of market dynamics, consumer behaviour, industrial trends and economic conditions impacting Leasing activities, including the performance of key retailers.
- Identify growth opportunities, optimise Leasing strategies and make informed strategic decisions.
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Estate Management, Business Studies, Marketing or equivalent. Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in a similar capacity
- Possess a strong network of tenants and contacts in the retail industry. Preferably have established contacts with major retailers and F&B operators.
- Bilingual proficiency in Malay or Mandarin and English with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated and capable of working under pressure with tight deadlines.
